West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum’s April meeting will feature a spotlight on West Michigan companies that have earned B Corps certification and a dialogue on impact business and the triple bottom line. The event is Monday, April 11 at Davenport University from 12 to 2 pm.B Corps at WMSBF
The event will feature representatives from six of the 10 West Michigan B Corps.

B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Today, there is a growing community of more than 1,600 Certified B Corps from 42 countries and over 120 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. There are now 10 in West Michigan.
Local First of West Michigan is the primary facilitator of B Corps certification in the region. Representatives will be available to introduce the process and answer questions from interested organizations.
