Summer is almost upon us. The sun and the heat are awesome, but you need to stay hydrated. One way to get those electrolytes into your body is with fermented drinks. These drinks are refreshing, healthy and easy to make at home. We will explain the differences between ferments, and show how to make them, as well as several variations and ways to use the fermented beverages. Fermented beverages are a great way to ween off soda, juices and other less healthy options. They give you that refreshing variety when you want something besides water.
This class will have demonstrations and samples of Milk Kefir, Water Kefir, Coconut Water kefir, Coconut Milk Kefir, Kombucha and natural fruit sodas.
