Corporate culture is an essential ingredient in any business’ success or failure. Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, will host “Creating a Winning Corporate Culture” to address this issue on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Automation Alley Headquarters in Troy.
Organized by Automation Alley’s Education and Workforce Committee, this event is part of the “Michigan’s Got Talent” series and will feature John Neary, CEO of CARite and former CAO of Credit Acceptance, a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For, who will discusses how companies can attract and retain a highly qualified workforce by creating or tweaking company culture.
“Creating a healthy corporate culture for your employees can not only boost morale, but it can also drive employee productivity and commitment to the job,” said Karol Friedman, director of talent development at Automation Alley. “When your staff senses that they are contributing to a successful group effort, the quality of products or services are likely to improve. In addition, when employees love their work atmosphere, they will become your best talent recruiters.”
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and networking, followed by lunch and the program from noon to 12:45 p.m. A Q-and-A period will follow until 1 p.m.
The cost to attend includes lunch and is $20 for members with pre-registration or $30 at the door. The cost for non-members is $40 with pre-registration or $50 at the door. Pre-registration ends Nov. 14 at close of business. To register, visit automationalley.com.
