Automation Alley’s “Trending Topics with Local Leaders” event series will feature a conversation with Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson on May 12 from 1-2 p.m. at Automation Alley Headquarters in Troy. Patterson will discuss Oakland County’s economic development plans and his current program initiatives to help create jobs.
Presented by Automation Alley’s Government Affairs Committee, “Trending Topics with Local Leaders” allows member organizations to gain exclusive access to local leaders, including politicians and legislators, and engage in a Q-and-A-style format.
“At Automation Alley, we create impactful events with the needs of Southeast Michigan’s technology and manufacturing businesses in mind,” said Ken Rogers, executive director of Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association. “I encourage our local business leaders to attend this event. Find out L. Brooks Patterson’s impressions of what’s happening in Oakland County and in our region. He’ll address your questions as well.”
“Trending Topics with Local Leaders” is a year-long event series open to all Automation Alley members and features a different VIP guest for each installment. The cost is $10. Register online at automationalley.com. Pre-registration ends May 8 at close of business.
