The Ferndale Public Library, in conjunction with Jeff Kingzett of Ameriprise Financial, is hosting a seminar on sustainable & responsible investing on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 7:00pm.
Steven Yoon, Regional Vice President of Calvert Asset Management Company, will present 21st Century SRI: Providing a More Comprehensive Way to Assess and Improve Corporate Value.
“Ferndale residents have repeatedly expressed interest in ways to make our world better. This extends not only to the green efforts we’re making every day in our community, to our pocketbooks and our investments, too,” says Library Director Kate Pohjola. “I’m pleased to partner with our friends & colleagues at Ameriprise to bring in a speaker that actively advocates for the environmental & social qualities we’re looking for.” There is no cost or obligation for attending this event.
Additionally, attendees will hear a briefing on land conservation efforts in Oakland, Macomb, Genesee and Lapeer Counties by Chris Bunch, Executive Director of the Six Rivers Regional Land Conservancy.
Following the presentations, Ferndale Public Library Director Kate Pohjola will provide tours of the environmentally-friendly features of the library’s award-winning 2010 renovation and expansion.
This free event is hosted by Jeff Kingzett of Ameriprise Financial. To reserve a space, RSVP to Jeff at 248-865-2519 or email him at jeffrey.kingzett@ampf.com. Light refreshments will be served.
